Cookie Cutter!

When you are growing up you are always told about how your life is suppose to be. What you are suppose to do and when. Its this cookie cutter mold that you are aiming to fit. Go to school, graduate, go to college, party, graduate college, date, get married, buy a house, and have kids. Everyone expects you to do this by the time you are 30 give or take a few years. But who really achieves that cookie cutter mold and if you do are you happy? Everyone gets older and does most of these things. If they did them in this order we might all be better off or would we? If I had done them in this order I would not have what I have today. I have a loving husband that I met in high school, A beautiful house that we work for, and a loving family that supports us in all that we do. I did not got to college, I did not party, and I did not "date". I would never want to go back and change that. I may not have done things by the cookie cutter mold but I turned out with a beautiful cookie. So no matter how old you are or what shape the world says your cookie should be make it your own. You have to live your life not them. What maybe good for one may not be good for another. Don't always do what others expect sometimes you need to make your own cookie cutter. The people that matter will still be there even if your cookie does not look like the rest. And in all the times i've baked cookies no two came out exactly the same even if I tried to use the same cookie cutter. They are all unique in some way, shape, or form but they were all still perfect. So go make your own cookie cutter and enjoy what you have created!
